Jeff Katz, President and Chief Operating Officer of Definition
6, oversees the company's daily ventures, placing particular
emphasis on profit and loss management, goal setting, process
improvement, employee consulting and development. As President and
COO, Katz oversees our offices in Atlanta and New York, where
he ensures that projects meet customers' objectives and are
delivered on time and on budget.
Katz joined the Definition 6 team in June 2000 as VP of
Operations, where he strategically planned and executed customer
and employee programs and processes that enhanced profitability,
productivity and efficiency throughout the company's operations.
Katz has been instrumental in driving Definition 6's continued
growth by quickly capitalizing on opportunities in the
ever-evolving world of marketing and technology.
He has held multiple local and national board positions for
leading technology association, TechAmerica. He currently serves on
the Tech America Executive Committee, Commercial Sector Board and
is Chair or of the Member Development Board.
Prior to joining Definition 6, Katz worked in a general manager
position with Cornerstone Propane Partners, L.P., one of the
nation's largest retail propane marketers. Cornerstone, which
served more than 380,000 customers in 29 states, hired him during
the company's 1997 acquisition of the Florida-based Mobile Gas and
St. Augustine Gas companies, where he worked as General manager and
Corporate Secretary/Treasurer .
A Jacksonville-native, Katz earned his Undergraduate Degree in
Urban Development from the University of Maryland at College Park,
then went on to receive his MBA from Jacksonville University in
1997.
